I said 90/10. I didn't want to be arrogant and I always research. I believe there is always someone to learn something from and there wasn't a catagory for that after 90/10. I rebuild transmissions (all manual and quite a few automatics) I rebuild engines, differentials, set up ring and pinions and do quite a bit of laptop tuning (electromotive, haltech, motech and will do a megasquirt soon). I have ported heads...it sucks. I love wiring things and making them work. I can do light upholstry work as well as paint and body. I love taking a vehicle that has a problem no one can diagonose and fixing it (emissions, evap, electrical, etc.). I own all the tools it takes to work on just about anything. These include 3 types of welding machines, many specialty tools, a portaband, cutting torch, and will be getting a plasma cutter very soon, I want a mandrel bender (dreaming) but haven't found one I could ever afford or that wasn't a huge expensive industral machine.

Well ive got tools out the ying yang(my dads) but as far as experience I've only taken down 2 motors both 350's no tranny experience and little rearend experience. I've done a few lift kits and I've tried to machine a few parts. little welding experience. BUT A **** LOAD OF TOOLS!! I didn't see an option for lots of tools but little experience so I guess 25/75 maybe 50/50? I'd like to do a supercharger install and if I could find a nice little cam to go with it in my truck for the "experience".

I'm 95/5. I do everything but paint, and thats only because my garage isnt big enough to make into a temp booth. I work on P-3 Orions which break alot so I have access to most every kind of metal, machine shop, welding outfits, and best of all......... I get all the custom stuff FREE thanks to you wonderful tax payers. LOL

I said 75/25. I don't mess with automatic trannys or diff gears. I do get lazy at times an pay to have some things done that I could do myself .

I have a pretty decent set of tools, pretty much any kind hand tool and some specialty tools but you never have everything that you need.

I can rebuild a smallblock(soon to find out how the gen III compares), but for some reason i just dont trust myself to put in gears...
