I really do not do anything myself. If I run into a problem I call grippy and he will fix it right up. Hell he even cooked some hot dogs on the radix for me.
J/K like most said, I will do everything except a tranny rebuild rear end... but I am thinking about doing the rear end myself. I will even paint a little...that is why mine looks f'd up.

i do most everything to my truck myself, me and my dad own a body shop. we paint and repair autos. i paint vehicles all the time but im still learning, so i have the occasional screw-up. we also do mechanical work like rebuilding engines and replacing broken parts. we have all the tools we will ever need, because its only us two and we stay busy, so i have to find the time or make time to work on my stuff. we built his car that we show (66 chevelle ss - 2 door - red w/ black interior - 396 motor). its been in a few shows around here and we have brought it to the show in houston thats around thanksgiving, what ever its called. the only car that beat it, in his class was one that a guy had like almost $1 million into. so i would say its a pretty nice car we have, that some ole country boys from the swamp land built. so i think i know alot for being only 21

25/75, I can do a lot more myself, but don't seem to have the time, and some jobs I don't want to do. I'll never change my own oil, 5 years ago I backed over a 5 gallon bucket of used motor oil. After cleaning up the mess I vowed to never change oil again.

I normally don't read instructions, I'm a reverse engineer. I take things apart to learn, most of us probably learn the same way. Except puttin back together and I need TQ specks. A year and a half ago I blew my tranny it was under warrenty and it was my only ride at the time and need to get it back on the road ASAP so the dealer did it. Other than that I have about 75% of the tools I need to do installs.

I went 80/20 but I think 75/25 is a good one for me as well. I don't have a welder so no exhaust for me!! I have done just about everything else aside from internal build up of my own race motor
. Now tearing them down is a whole different story. I think if I had to build an everyday driver that wasn't getting N2O or Boost thrown at it all day, I could definitely accomplish that. Good thread grippy
