Default Went to test drive a 2011 ecoboost today....

I passed by a local ford dealership today and seen some ecoboost trucks. So I decided to stop in for a test drive all i can say is sticker shock i could not believe how much fords neew trucks cost. The crew cab 4wd had several options but no leather and it stickered in at 53,xxx however thats with a 4500 dealer mark up but still 49k wow. So I then looked at the 2wd extended cab it had a few options but nothing special it was going for 41,xxx that also had a 4500 dealer markup but 35k for a basically basemodel but with rims is still pretty steep. The high price was not all because of the ecoboost option it was 1750. The funny part was how much of a bargain the salesman told me the truck was lol. Basically I thought they would be a cool truck to buy but I think Ill just wait for chevy's new line of motors.

Our loaded EcoBoost crews are in the high 30's, low 40's I've driven lots of them... Cool concept and very strong for what it is, but nothing to wet your pants over.

Friend of mine just bought a F150 ecoboost. He loves it and the electric power steering.

I have a friend who test drove an Ecoboost, and he said that Ford is really proud of that product for 40k..

Bought Z71 4x4 quad cab for a lot less.
