I worked any job that would fit my schedule... Jobs during college consisted of: 7-11, Burger King, Waited Tables, UPS, Exhaust shop, Body Shop, Semi-Conductor Manufacturer, you name it I pretty much did it.... I got used to only sleeping like 4 hours a night... Some of the jobs might sound crappy but I made it threw and that is all that counts and pretty much did it by myself....

I let my rich parents pay for everything... HAHAHA, ya right I wish I had rich parents. No Tech school for me, couldn't afford it. I got a job at a local welding and machine shop the summer before my junior year in high school. I was the floor sweeper, metal stacker and basic shop flunky. As time when on I got better at welding and learned to do machine work. By the end of my Senior year, I was pretty much running the small shop and could weld and build pretty much anything. I worked there for about 4 years in total, so I guess you could say I got paid to go to school.

Yep definently know alot of people that have had all of there schooling paid for by there parents along with them paying for there vehicle and supporting them. Makes me angry but it teaches me to be responsible I guess. Technical school up here isnt alot at all, classes start at 2600 a year and there all goverment approved courses so I guess you could say you get more then you pay for. But the whole working fast food thing has got me down

Luckily I had scholarships that paid for my undergrad and gave me some extra spending money. Medical school, on the other hand, is putting me in the hole BIG TIME.

Its just temporary. It will help you to appreciate things later in life. You can join the military and get money for college.

What scholarships did you apply to for undergrads?

I worked at a saw-mill while I went to Tech school. Last class was at 4, went to my apartment, and changed, at work at 5 until about 9 every night, and then picked up any weekends I could since I was 300 miles from home and wasn't about to go home every weekend like everyone else did.

I could get you a job with my company selling security during the summer months. Pay is good. I only work 4 months a year and last year made close to 30k my first year.
