First thing i did was see if it would spin the tires... test passed
Took a Spare 2wd 4L60E i had in the shop and swapped the output shaft for a 4wd. Threw it in monday night and fired it up last night. Checked the fluid and it works.
240,000 miles and the 5.3 is really really quiet at 550rpms. Injectors are loud but i was expecting the piston slap.

You said it there! I actually got a guy down on the coast that wants it, so I guess I'll be heading down there this weekend to pick up the 80 and sell the converter. WIN WIN!
