Default Stupid Titans

Alright, my brother been talking how his Titan is faster than my truck. All he has is a Crew Cab Titan with a magnaflow, bully dog programmer, and tires that are 2" smaller than stock. My mods are in my sig. From 60, I still can't beat him. WTF! Although I did not lose either. We stayed on the side of each other until I let out at 90. Don't like a vibrating driveshaft!! I held with iamkeniff pretty good before the motor swap and he was running 14.4. Are those Titans that freaking fast?

I would think you should be able to beat him.

i find that at 60 my truck just stalls up and goes. However at 65 its a different story, truck will downshift and makes a huge difference. At 60 does your downshift?

You might have to get it re-balanced at higher speed.

Mine downshifts to second at 60. I usually hit 2nd around 42 and 3rd at 82. I want to run him again from about 25-30 and see what happens. I wonder how much his smaller tires are helping him. We will try again but from a dig soon. I just need to learn how to launch without smoking the tires!!

And i'm not really worried about going any faster than 95 so i think i'll just leave the drive shaft along.

smaller tires really do help alot. I was running some 225/60/16's off of a montecarlo once and picked up quite a bit of time. I bet if you had a set of stock 17's and some short tires you would beat him for sure
