to the OP: i would have figured that you would beat him and I agree that the smaller tires make a pretty big difference.

I wasn't sure whether u meant 2.94 as a 1st gear of the 5 spd. auto or it's the rear gear. So I checked. As a rear gear, or the optional 3.36 on certain models.

Anyway, said a 2.94 rear, combined w/. 5A gearing, combined is like a 4.10 in a 4A. Uh oh! Now, I know why; some things are coming clearer now.

No, I didn't tell him about the headers or cam. Only people on here know about it. It's all at Skipperdaddy's house so know one who comes to my house will see it!!! My older brother's Tundra is next on the list!

Titans have a looser tq converter stock. It's probably similar to what a TB stall would be like in a truck
