smaller tires on the titan is actually hurting him. if he had stock tires he would have pulled at least a fender or more. those programmers make a world of difference on a titan. if u both do a 30 roll that will be an awesome race

 

What, how? Smaller tires, effectively raise your rear gear relatively speakin. But, IDK his RPMs when he runs down a strip, if ya know what I mean.

 

i doubt the shorter tires are hurting him. All the titans i ever raced at the track had on short drag radials to lower there overall gear ratio. They were running mid to low 14's in the quarter i think. They always kicked my 5.3L in the ***.

 

I ran against a Titan. We're almost even modwise, except he was 4wd EC. I know he had better gears, but forgot what else. I beat him on 1st run, I r/t'd better every time, but he flat out beat me 5-6x. He ran 14.3s. This was prior to my stall/ tranny tho.

 

Most Titans with a CAI, catback and handheld can run 14.5-14.8. One guy runs 14.2's launching in 4 wheel drive with only CAI, catback and Superchips. Add headers and Uprev tuning, and you're talking high 13's.

315 hp and i don't know his gears. i do know he has a five speed tranny instead of 4 like me.

I have cam and headers coming REAL soon so he's in for a big surprise next time we race!!!!

 

Gotcha, I figured 315 or 320hp, but thought 315 in actuality. He has a 5 spd. automatic right? Sorry, not up on all the import stuff.

Didja tell him bout the hdrs & cam? I'm kinda hoping not, I love to see those surprised looks on people's faces' when they think they have a sure thing in the bag.
