Default Parts Shortage

Hey guys just had a question about a possible parts shortage. Had one of our salesmen stop by today and wasn't driving his LBZ Duramax, we asked if he got demoted and told us that it was at the dealership to get a head gasket fixed. The bad part of it was it was going to be two weeks before it was going to get fixed do to they can't get parts. Anywhere else having this problem?

when you lay off a **** load of people, work backs up, as long as you can maintain a demand, your business will last longer, and if you can get some bail out money your ceo gets that 10 million dollar bounes come christmas time before lay offs come again in january.

I know that the body shops in the area here are having a hard time getting in body panels and such. They say it takes 3-4 weeks for alot of the parts

They did order it about 3 years ago but the problem was is that they were actually going to go through with it until it became public. ********.

Body parts are going to be a wait because this is the busy time of year when the snow and ice hits people smash up their cars a lot more.

The body shop around here has a supplier that strips out wrecked vehicles. So if you wanted, you could get a used part in new condition for cheaper. Was going to get the right rear window replaced in my truck for $200 less than the dealership priced me.
