I've been working in dealerships since I was 15, so luckily I've never paid full price, but, as mentioned, even with the discount the prices have gotten out of hand. I priced out an engine gasket kit for an 03 LQ9 a few years ago and it was something like $850 Can't remember if that even included head bolts or not

I have to admit though. I broke my key where it goes on a ring somehow.

13 bucks they cut me a new one

We needed one rocker for a ls2. Cost 11 bucks. I could not believe it was that cheap.
