I got hit by a car a few years ago on my Harley and I got the ins co. to pay for my custom ($5K+) paint, leather jacket, helmet, custom controlls etc with only a little fight.

I can be a real pain in the *** when it comes to getting what I want. Just make sure to document everything!
Well according to Erik these parts depreciate really fast...at least in his other thread he was saying something like that so...???

Yup yup, I'll take as many photo's as I can!! I never used to document much in the form of pictures but thanks to PT.net I kinda have a hardrive full of them now!

USAA = United Services Automobile association.
From what I understand they are for US military personnel and their families only. My sister runs a State Farm Ins. office up in Tahoe and I asked her if she could get me cheap "family/discount/under the table" rates for me with state farm and she said sure...what do you have? I told her USAA and she said forget it, none of her policies with all discounts included could get me close to what I was paying. Still can't find anything remotely close to them still.

I guess I will be looking into some additional insurance, for the amount of coin I am dropping into this truck it is better to be safe than sorry.
