Default Help me settle a debate..

Last night a few of us were out at the 1/8th mile track and it seemed like there were a ton of turbo trucks. One of my friends thinks its abnormal and I think its the way that ALL vehicle platforms are going. the $:hp ration for a basic kit i think is the smartest way to go now a days.

So lets vote, what/where are you going mod wise with your truck.

Turbos are great for a weekend quarter mile warrior, but it is hard to beat the off-idle power of a roots blower, especially since you need some serious torque to get a 5-6,000 pound truck moving.

Both have advantages and disadvantages,

Sts rear mounts claim no turbo lag...

I am more of a turbo guy. My truck has a supercharger because they came optionally on it. My car has turbos, and I think they have more benefits than a supercharger. But hey, that's just my opinion.

My big truck in the sig is primarily N/A but will have some giggity gas in the near future.

I'm currently collecting parts for a RCSB build that will satisfy my turbo curiosity...
