Goals for 2006?
#1
AP started a good thread for 2005 goals & accomplishments! So, I figured a goals for 2006 was in order. Post up what you'd like to do in the new year.
Here's mine:
- change G80 and 3.73 gears to Eaton locker and Motive 4.10s
- change stock exhaust w/ FM to a Supermaxx system and a stainless cat-back. (B&B or Corsa?)
- new cai (AEM Brute Force or ?)
- finally get a tune (Nelson 93)
- get a built tranny (FLP level 5 4l65e or Jag 4l65e)
- TR 220 cam w/ 112 lsa
- Trailblazer torque converter
- Toyo 275/60/17 tires
- Hotchkis TVS 2/4 or McGaughy 2/4 w/ Hotchkis sways
- Bilstein or Edelbrock ISA shocks
- Goodmark cowl hood
- Snugtop tonneau
- Z-71 Tahoe grille
I prolly need to focus on paying it off, but oh well.

I'll be installing a new 408ci motor. Then, when that's paid off I'll get a built 4L80e. I'm actually hoping to break into the 12's first with the current setup. After the tranny will be a Livernois turbo kit, Whipple 3.3L blower OR a F1R Procharger. Haven't decided yet. I'm thinking that won't be till next winter.

I coud use your stall right about now,
I guess I"ll settle for next year, couldn't make it before;
Built 4L60e
Custom built driveshaft
rgvsierra's stall, 3000 TCI
TR224+918's springs
and lower times expected

WERD!! These trucks are so addictive! They way I look at it is, this is the LAST truck I'm buying for a long time. I might as well build it the way I want to.

im pretty much done... im not going FI... but this is whats left...
Aluminum Driveshaft
lower the front 2" and the back another 2"... (2/4)
Fuddle Stall (3200.. the 2200 isnt cutting it)
Start saving for a new truck as a daily driver bc one day(like 4 yrs from now, lol) i'll pull the motor and tranny and turn it into a drag truck (I5 Colorado and it'll stay stock... ya right

First goal...I want my damn shoulder and elbow to heal already!! Then I want to install my StainlessWorks headers and y-pipe, get some Toyo Proxes 285/50 20's on my Gibbs wheels, Belltech 2" lowering shackles, remove 4x4 lift blocks, and install lowering keys, and make a little cash on the side to start putting parts into the LQ9. I'd like to acquire a 4L65E next year too...to bolt behind the 6.0
There's a few bodywork items I'd like to address asap also...
