I hope you like it. you picked a good one IMO. I like them in 9mm, .40, or .45. I would have went with a .45 personaly only cause they don't make a .46. have fun and be safe.

Nice Carry Gun Scott,
That is the perfect choice for Concealed carry IMO.
I carry a S&W 45 ACP, but am seriously considering buying a compact .40 like yours, Its just ammo is pricey and hard to find around here for a .40 .

Nice. I'd leave it at home except to and from shooting ranges. Few years ago I was looking at a taurus 357 magnum for the house, but decided against it. Having a gun is one thing, I grew up with Dad and Pawpaw having guns in the bedside drawers and we knew not to fool with them, but carrying a gun is another. I have a terrible temper, and while I dont think I'd ever use a gun against someone, I cant be sure.
The way I see it, carrying a gun puts you in another level of drama. I'm not superstitious, but I kinda feel like those things just attract trouble. Whether you are a straight person or not.
I just try to stay out of the trouble areas and move about the country in a clear minded fashion. I've went without a gun and CHL for the first 25 years of my life, I figure I can do it for the next 25 or more. But nothing wrong with guns as sport IMO.

Nice firearm Scott. That being said, I am not a fan of the XD, would never buy one myself. You would have been better served with a Glock 26 or 27 IMO.
Anyways, now that you have it, the most important thing to do is put as many rounds through it as possible to become proficient with it.

Comfort is what makes a gun good for you . I like the way my S&W feels in my hand. I also like Kimbers and Colts, Never had a Springfield yet but i think i will soon.
