Although im struggling to find the link I heard GM was going to put a 4.4l direct injected V8 in the new Corvette. I remember 440hp estimate from the article for a baseline vette. Ill have to post the link when I find it.

there are a bunch of diehard chevy guys in here. i have always been one too but that ecoboost really has me interested. i will likely drive my 01 chevy to it rusts into the ground but if i were looking at a new truck i would be all over one of the new fords.

did you see where the base 3.7L v6 motor runs mid 15's. damn!

I can't lie, I'm interested in the Eco-Boost, just not sure I could get used to driving a truck and not hearing the V8. Though I really like the new F150's. The 4.6 liters were horribly underpowered as were the 5.4's. I've driven a 2011 5.0 F150 and it definitely has some potential.

I really debating between a new F150 and GMC Sierra as my next truck sometime later this year.

Ford engines are the WORST to work on! Looking at one makes me cringe.
