Can-am ATVs
#1
Sooooo ive kind of lost interest in making the truck "faster". I was invited to go ride with my brother in law, and use his sons can-am 650. He has a can-am 800xmr which i like a lot. Price wise eh, almost as much as my truck is worth
Ive been kicking the idea around, but i dont want to shell out a ton of cash on something thats not going to get used a lot. I worked 3300hrs last year
i feel like an old worn out detriot 471, its time to spice my free time up
Plans are to put 4-5k down (longest warrenty possible!) i will not be sinking the 4 wheeler, nor will i be racing it. I just want a big bike that'll allow me to go just about anywhere i want and enjoy the days i have off vs being stuck working all the time.
800xmr (13k roughly)
1000xt (11-12k)
800xt (9500-10500)
I really dont want to sink any money in the 4 wheeler so big tires/winch is a must. Dont really want a loud 4 wheeler, i have a race truck for that. And i dont want to risk ripping up anything by lifting it.
Any Pics, details, what you use it for would be great.
Also i plan to buy a 16' dual axle trailor so i can haul all 3 bikes to mud nationals/trails if i wanted. Plus when is a bigger trailer never really needed?

Better bikes out there for the money IMO. They're the Cadillac for sure but for the money saved with a Polaris you could easily pay for your bigger trailer, better tires and a winch.

I like that. What size tires? Any issues with it? Warrenty?
I like the xmr bc of the upgraded axles, bigger winch, bigger tires, an the radiator is on top of the bike vs down in the mud.

if you're willing to spend 13k get a polaris RZR-s. they are a blast! i've hated polaris my entire life and would ride nothing but yamaha and honda...then i ended up with a suzuki and now i have the polaris. polaris nailed the rzr on the head. tough as hell and will go through/up/over/around just about anything.

I never had any issues with it, you will get different opinions on Brutes some good some bad i loved mine but I sold it already and made a good profit on it. I am wanting a Honda Rincon 680FI since they are shaft driven and not belt like all the others.

13k isnt a horrible issue, i just dont want to "waste" 13k. Warrenty has a lot to do with it too. I dont want a 13k paper weight
