Chris: yeah a jeep is cool but not something id want to have taking up my driveway. A 500 is big enough...im kind of kicking around just getting the 800xt
Im in no hurry getting anywhere. I have a truck to get me where i wanna go fast. I just want a bike im going to be happy with an not have to stress over for a while.
Can-am 800xt (black) ill put some bigger tires on it, maybe a 2" lift.
The renagade is nice but not what id want. Artic cat is 15k for a white or green bike, i want a black bike which is what annoys me about the can-am XMR. Ill look at a few more bikes.
Txsilverado: that rzr is insane lol. An turbomic is insane.

^^^ artic cat is very bottom of the list, even after a grizzly 700.
The list so far:
Can-am Xmr
1000xt
800xt
Honda foreman 500 with 2" taller tires, lift.
Yamaha grizzly 700
I want to keep stock muffler an just ride. I didnt really think about scratches, but i dont think my fat *** would look too good on a white/green/super yellow 4 wheeler i really want to stay away from a belt driven transmission or anything thatll slip when getting wet. I hate how the can-am site doesnt tell you every little detail you'd ever wanna know.

i was never a polaris fan myself. always rode honda, until i went out shopping for a new big bore, looking at all the bikes, i chose the 850xp, nice machine, never a problem in 2 years with it and after shopping around, i payed 7700 otd.
only has a pair of bighorns and HID's. since purchased. its more than enough quad for me.
i'd recommend it to my friends

Stay as far away as you can from Arctic Cat. Unless you just wanna go in a straight line. My XTZ 1000 prowler was fast, but that was it. I sold it with 450ish miles for 1/2 the price of what I paid and I only had it for 2 years. Every time I took it out something broke. Got to the point where I quit riding it and put a for sale sign on it.

artic cats = junk, polaris fourwheelers, not much better, the rzr is an exception, Honda is behind the times. Yamaha, suzuiki, can-am, are the way to go now. I bought a barely used 2009 renegade 800, had 1200 kms (roughly 800 miles) with new tires, full snorkel kit, warn winch, hand and thumb warmers, fender extensions, full skid plates, frame inserts all for 8500 bucks. No complaints about the belt drive
