you can't really get a feel for how loud those were. the last couple really moved some air and made the ground shake.

we are thinking about trying a really big one. the big ones there were in 55gallon bags. maybe try something in the 300gallon range. cheap too. we made a lot of them and used at most 1/2 the gas in those tanks.

Lot's of good fun! We used to make them in the big black plastic bags like that and had them on a clothes line, lowering them down to an ignition source. They are hella loud!!

A special note should be mentioned to NEVER do this in the house....unless you want to replace all your windows

That's awesome! Good clean family fun.

We used to do something similar in chemistry. You take a flask and fill it with hydorchloric acid, then dump zinc in and quickly stick a balloon on then of the flask. When the balloon is full, quickly tie a knot on the end, tape it to a stick and hold it over the bunsen burner. Mushroom cloud and all.

Just don't be this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fWBI...eature=related

If you have two torches and find someone cutting on a long piece of pipe just open the gas *** on the torch and fill the pipe that way, you can scare the **** out of someone that way. I had a buddy I use to work for was bad about that ****.
