Default November '09: chevrolet all the way

chevrolet all the way

First off I would like to say thank you to all of you guys for helping my truck get to where it is now. There is no telling what horrible mods it would have now.

I bought my truck when I was 15 years old with 10k miles and some small things like borla exhaust, side rail, and A.R.E. bed cover.

After that I started doing some small mods such as intake and handheld programmer. Once I started this I found the potential of these motors. Not long after that I found this site and my check book can tell you what that did. But it has been worth every penny.

Once this happened the outside began to change such as wheels, debadge, paint match, new grille, and a few other small things.

Then I really got into the engine. After doing all the bolt ons and a good tune I wanted to take it to the next level. The day before easter me and a friend (jeff sickredsierra) did a head, cam swap with some modded 862 heads and a 220/224 .530 .534 112 lsa cam.

Now after break in I had to take it to the dyno. After a few problems and a blown trans it ended being a good day!
342rwhp 328tq is what it ended up making! I was VERY pleased with this out of my little 4.8 and so was everyone else involved in helping.

thanks again to anyone that has helped with my newb questions from day one all the way up to now and still some newb questions

heres a few pics of the rest of the truck
