Default Don't underestimate the TBSS

The guy is probably still wondering what the **** happened.

On my way home today I watched in the rearview as some guy in a black Charger R/T weaved thru traffic. I decided that if I got the chance I was gonna give him a go.... lucky for me after about 3 blocks the chance presented itself.

As we sat at the light I could tell he wasn't giving me any attention b/c he probably thought it was just another trailblazer.

I threw it in neutral and gave him a sample of the exhaust... that got his attention and he replied. I will admit it was a damn good lookin car and it sounded really good... definitely had an aftermarket exhasut. I turned the stabilitrac off and brake stalled it up just a little for launch. I could tell the dude was thinking 'what the **** is this guy thinking?' It was obvious he didn't know what he was up against.

When the light turned I absolutely DESTROYED him out of the hole and pulled all the way up to around 80mph where I shut down and rolled to the next light and waited for him to pull up next to me. He rolled up really slow... I could tell he was trying to get a better look at what had just beat him.

When he got next to me his window was down... I turned the stereo off and he hollered "Lets run em again... I got a shitty launch that time" I nodded and got ready to run again.

Light changed and I still got him out of the hole, but this one was closer... he stayed on my rear bumper all the way up to 75mph and we ran out of room. We toyed with eachother in traffic for the next couple of miles and eventually I had to turn. He gave 2 quick shots of the horn and waved... I returned the gesture.

It was a cool couple of runs. I still think the guy has no idea what happened to him, but at least he was cool about it. I have to admit that of all the dodge cars a black RT is pretty sweet lookin... almost enough to turn me to "the dark side".

Now I'm on to bigger game... mods are in the works and then its Lightning huntin' time... I need revenge for all the times the L's made me look foolish before

Great runs and just wait till you bolt on the MagnaCharger. I cannt believe the difference it made in mine. The LS2 is a whole different animal with the supercharger. Once again great kill!

Nice K man!

Im hoping to maybe get an SS soon, really want to keep my 02 TB at the same time. Looking at ordering a blue SS LT AWD loaded without Nav, rear ent, or rainsense but ever other option. Looking at about 38K, but hopefully a dealer will deal with me. Since there arent any TB SSs in Seattle (that I have seen, I know there are a few lurking here somewhere) it will be great to mess with the little ricers everywhere.
