Squeaky creaking sound???
Ok, I keep hearing a loud squeaky creaking sound when my truck is at an incline, and I hear it mainly (actually sepecifically) when I apply the break. For example I am driving up a ramp, and tap the breaks, and the body/undercarraige sqeaks liek a mother ******. What is that? Do y'all think it might be body roll? I doubt that it is, b/c I dont feel a "give" in the body ever. Could it be linked to the break line some how? I know it only happens when the breaks are applied. Anyone ever have this happen to them? By the way it never did this until I lifted it with the 6" Fabtech, when it had just the 3" body lift it was fine. Let me know guys, thanks!

Squeak like brake squeak? Maybe one of your pads is moving around too much??
On my sister's Suburban she had a similar problem. It kept squeaking when she hit small bumps or went up an incline. I told her to take it back to the dealer, 2007 model, and they re-greased one of the rear bushings and it went away. Maybe check that out? Good luck

it definately sounds liek it may be a bushing. Cause i thought it might be the body mounts, but that was just crazy, considering the overall body roll was very slight, and even when it did ocurr, there was no sound liek this.

did you check your bushings at the spring hangers and the shackles, maybe one of them is blown out and your having a little axle wrap but backwards instead of forwards and since your going up a hill it might make it more drastic... did you get new springs when you bought the fabtech lift or is it a block lift? a blown bushin can be loud as all hell

I think I may have found the source of the sound. It is actually a pretty common ailment for F150's/torsion bar suspensions. The torsion bars hexagon bushing needs to sprayed with silicon spray and maybe replace the bushing. So there we have it. I will update everyone on if it worked.
