Default 295/70/17s Will they fit??

I have a 2004 Z71 Crew cab, it's all stock for right now. I am gonna go pick up some Ford keys and throw those in. I'm looking at the Nitto terra grapplers in a 295/70/17 and was wondering if they would fit, without rubbing, if I had the ford keys?? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance guys.

I highly doubt it. Plus those are too wide to mount on your stock rims. A lot of people run 285's on stock 2500 wheels(6.5" wide) and even the 1500 wheels(7 or 7.5" wide), but it will result in uneven wear due to the sidewalls being pulled in so far. They do clear on the 2500's... but barely on the non HD's. So I would suggest looking around a little more. I hope this helps.

You'll be ok with those, they may rub some but they'll fit. They are only slightly taller then the 285/70 17s most people are going to. I've been looking at some Toyo tires in that size and see no problem with fitment.

I am running 285/75-16's with cranked t-bars and never rubbed. My dad had 285/70-17 MTR tires on his stock Z71 Tahoe and never rubbed. I think that's about as big as you can go though without rubbing.

I believe they are toyo open country A/Ts, a few guys at work use them on their dodge rams in the 20" varity and love them. It's a toss up between the Nitto Terra grips or Toyo Open country ATs but are great tires (keep in mind these are on trucks that see off road driving daily along with high speed highways).

A 295/70r17 is only 1/2" taller and 1/2" wider than a 285/70r17. If your t-bars are cranked and/or are using Ford keys, you'll be fine

I'm running them, no rubbing at all, I have 17x9 rims with the Nitto's.

Yes I cranked up the Torsion bars.

I put 33x12.50-17 wild country rvt's on a stock wheel, no rubbing and no trimming. I then added 17x8 AR teflon mojave's and had to crank the TB's and trim the front valence. 33's will fit on a stock wheel no problem, and that was with stock ride height.

Default Toyo tires

One of our company vehicles is a Dodge Durango - I believe an 04. It is all stock and sees alot of highway miles. Not long ago it got a set of Toyo tires on it and we've all agreed not to get another set. They are loud and wear prety uneven. Dont remember which Toyos they were though.
