How do you figure? since I had a significant difference in top end power once I swapped intakes?? stock truck manifold intake only pulled to 5800 rpm's, and with my ls1 intake it pulled up to about 6400 rpm's with no problem

The ls6 flows better than the ls1 intake... So if you go that route get the ls6 intake. The deal with the truck vs. car intakes is that the truck intake provides more torque but the car I air will allow for more rpms.... Simple fix: get a bigger cam! Lol the swap is definitly not worth it at all it's expensive, and alot of parts and modification is required. The only way it beifits you is the look. It does look good. But a cam swap is alot easier and cheaper.

provide me with some evidence besides SOTP. i have plenty to back up my claims. i went from truck to LS6 and gained absolutely nothing at the track. i did gain some power with the ported fast 90mm setup.

Noob Q, will the truck injectors fit the ls1 intake? I heard yes, but then you must run alum fuel rails. Thx

You will have to have special fuel rails if they're even made for that application.. I've been down this road and isn't worth the swap... But if you do just get the stock ls1 injectors, they are cheap and are 28lb injectors.

Define special? I'm talking about aftermarket straight billet fuel rails with AN fittings. Do those work with the shorter truck injectors on the ls1 intake?

yes to answer your question, you will need to make spacers for the rails and of course longer bolts, do a search for wieand intake and you will see me journey with it.
