some body ever swap LS1 intake on a 5.3

The ls1 would be a downgrade from what I've read on here. Ls6 probably requires car accessories. People like the gmt900/tbss truck intake though. Someone with more knowledge on this might. chime in

ls1 intake is a down grade, ls6 intake performs the same IMO although 1 or 2 people think it's a slight upgrade. either way the gain that you may get isnt worth the expense and PITA of swapping to a car manifold. i saw ZERO gains with ls6.

There is a huge difference from stock truck intake to Ls1 intake, i had one on my 04 Silverado 4.8 (currently finishing my Ls6 swap) but there was a good difference in top end power... Ls6 is a little better but not worth the $$$ i picked up my Ls1 with fuel rails and injectors for $150 when Ls6 (same satup) is like $300, Ls6 is only like 10 more hp

i hate to tell you, but the LS1 intake is a downgrade from the truck manifold.
