Default Truck wont start

I put my key in the truck and it wont start for some reason. I hear a ticking sound under the dash check the relays and they are ok but the sound is from the relay. So I swapped it with a new one and same thing is happening. Anyone know what this could be? Thanks for the help.

if ur overhead light its dim and then going out or flickering when u turn the key its the battery. Some times jumping wont work because the battery is so old, or just too weak. I hate to say it but I think u need a battery man.. maybe just switch the one from the "beater" for a trial run?

Don't hook it to the battery when jumping it in case it has a bad cell.

Hook the positive up to the + on the battery and the ground on your alternator/block.

Don't do that either. Ground it to the alternator and put the positive on the bolt inside the red jump box.

putting the + on the battery vs the red box doesn't change a thing. The battery bolt is connected to the wire that runs directly into the red box...
