Default Need some audio help ASAP..... PAC OEM-GM24 issues

I hooked up my JL stealth box and JL audio 250/1 mono amp but I cant get it to work. The green light is on the amp but no output and I think it has to do with the PAC OEM-GM24 interface to use my factory head unit. I put it all together per the instructions.... anyone have an idea what it may be? Thanks

Did you make sure that the remote turn on lead on the PAC actually gets +12V? Since I am non-Bose, when I hooked mine up, the pin they referenced in the instructions didn't have any wire associated with it, so I had to find another switched +12 source. Stupid me picked one that isn't part of the retained accessory power so I'll have to do that over some time.

Not sure if it gets 12v or not (dont have a meter) but I did hook it up to the pink wire in pin 3 like the instructions said. I started flipping some switches on the amp last night and got it to at least work now but it seems a little weak (gain is turned all the way up and bass turned up on head unit). Thanks for the help.

the 03+ trucks DO NOT have a romote lead out from the head unit. You have to tap into the steering column, or like I did at athe fuse box. I found a 12v that turns on with the key and pulled the fuse and then pressed it back in with the wire. You can also purchase a fuse with an adapter to tap into it.

Also, make sure you are tapped into your rear speakers for the signal. If you are tapped to the front and you fade your system to the rear, you are effectively turning down the bass.....

How do I know if the remote is working like it should.... doesnt it just turn the green light on the amp? If so, whatever the pink wire is used for is doing that now.

Umm, my 03 SSS uses the pink wire under the center console as its remote wire. I have the bose set-up though. Mine works fine

^ Looks like I have it all hooked up right now. I put mine up by the head unit though because the instructions said not to hook it up at the Bose Amp. I think I just have some tweaking to do now.

Ok, i did not know about that lead. Still the 03+ HEAD UNITS do not have a supplied remote lead coming from them directly.

I may have to look into that lead for my truck, might be nicer than the fuse box.
