I would like to upgrade my 2011 GMC haedlight bulbs---looking for what is working best for the 07 to 2011 body style trucks? I am not an avid supporter of the drls.

Go HID's. I tried the Silverstar Platium (or whatever they were called this was several years ago) at $50 bux a set and only lasted 6 months. For some dumb reason I kept buying them and after the third set (exactly 6 months) I bought some regulars and plan on picking up some HID's here shortly.

I purchased some HIDs from DDM Tuning for my G8 awhile back, but have not installed them yet. Anyone have other sources for them? Did you go with low and high beam for your installs? What about your fog lights? I don't want to melt the housings.

I got DDM tuning HIDs too, they only took about 15-20 minutes to get in, and make a huge difference.
I haven't had any heat problems and i occasionally run headlight covers which are thin pieces of plastic, and havent had any melting.
I'd go with as many HIDs as you can get... his, lows and fogs
