Question Factory XM/On Star Shark Fin Antenna

I have been searching the web on and off for info but no real luck... Has anyone ever used the xm antenna to receive fm radio??? I havent used the xm since i bought the truck and am not interested in it... I like the idea of removing the factory radio antenna but would like good signal.... i have relocated the antenna into the inner fender area but signal strength is not all that good... just wondering if anyone has done this before or knows any info about this... this is for a 2010 gmc... thanks......

I'd be interested to know that too. I moved my antenna to the fenderwell for a bit, but the signal was too poor, so I moved it back. I'd like to find another solution.
