Why pay so much, building your own box is not so expensive. A well sized sheet of MDF coasts $35, and buying that JL sub by itself would be better too.

the jl audio stealth boxes are fiberglass not wood. They are tuned to the particular woofers installed and sound awesome. When you take away the price of the sub the enclosures are not that much more than a custom box from your corner audio shop......although I am betting much more research went into the stealth enclosure than the custom box built at your local audio shop.

These enclosures sound awesome. I have the one that goes inside the center console of a 99+ gm truck and let me tell you it sounds incredible.

looks sweet. I wish I had $$$ to get a nice set up like that. I built the box I have for abour $70 and I think it looks pretty good. But im sure the JL system would sound alot better.

See those rings on your seats form the speaker? That is bad! Bad fro sound, bad for the speakers longevity and bad for the amp because that can increase resistance.

Jason, we had the exact same setup LOL. The Vantage boxes are no longer offered by JL though. At least not those ones.
