i would personally go dealer only on JL. you might pay a little more but the service you get in return is worthwhile.....IMO

Thanks tim z, yeah I have build 1 sub box before, it was not too hard. I guess the hardest part was cutting the round hole where the sub would go, came out all crooked, but easily fixed. I'll post a picture if anyone is interseted with the right measurements for a dual sub box for 99 and newer Chevy/GMC 99 and up extended cabs.

i would not be opossed to buying from a dealer, but around here it is literally just a bunch of high school kids you have to deal with, not that im ragging on rthem but when i spend a couple hundred $$ i want to talk to real professionals and get the best value for my money, i just thought you guys would know of a place on the web or maybe a trust worthy chain store to buy j l and get good prices, --thanks

I paid $450 for my enclosure, that includes the 10w3 woofer, and all the goodies to make it look factory (new console insert, mounting hardware, etc)

I'm sure thats a quality piece, I've heard lots of good things about ProBox.
I really like those new Jl boxes though, to me, they look the most factory, have fantastic SQ subs in them, vented no less, and would compliment my JL amp nicely I think.
I know what I want for Easter

JL audio does make 12" boxes for there speakers. I have 2 JL Advantage boxes for my W6 12's. They sound loud and clear for what they are, premade enclosures.

My bro has a custom box with W3 12's that he paid a lot of money for. I hate to say, but my premade box is louder and more clear.

Here are a few pics;
