Default Can amps be repaired?

...and if so, where? My Infinity Basslink crapped out on me, and I'm curious if there's somewhere I can take it to be fixed that's cheaper than replacing it. I know where to go when my Ampeg bass amp needs service, wondering if there's any place like that for automotive applications.

Yes, most can be repaired. Contact the manufacter, sometimes it is more cost effective to buy a new one however. I have had a couple repaired and was only $25-50, but then you also have to add shipping to and from the place also. It usually is cheaper to have it repaired in most cases.

Yea, there's probably a common transistor or capacitor that pops or something...I checked Infinity's website and found a service center not too far away. I'm going to give them a call when I get a chance and see what they can do for me. If I can get this thing fixed for $50, that would be a hell of alot better than $300 for a new one

It's amazing how you get used to something and can't be without it when it's gone...my tunes sound like poop now, it feels like there's no bottom at all

I am sure your Ampeg guy can also repair it if he can repair solid state guitar amps this will be a breeze. An amp circuit is an amp circuit. It is just a clean solid state mosfet amp.
