Amp Mount location on 01 Silverado Extended Cab
#1
Hey guys. Recently purchased a thunderform box for my silverado which takes up pretty much all the room under the rear seats. I have a sub amp in place where it is supposed to be in the thunderform box. Also wanted to mount a 4 channel amp somewhere and keep the rear seats. What is the best location or most used for a 4 channel amp. Was thinking behind the rear seats but not sure how much room is available. Sub amp fits just fine in the box and clears the seats but i'm stuck on where to mount the 4 channel. Thanks.

Do they take the rubber insulation or the cloth type, the rubber have vents to the outdoor so i'm not sure if that would be the best place to take it out but it seems to be the only spot with enough space

I used liquid nails to glue a big piece of 3/4" mdf to the back wall, then used wood screws to secure the amp, and a power inverter I added later.
I have a 2.55 cubic foot box under the rear seat and a 5 channel amp on the back wall. My seats are lifted 2.5", so space can be made.
