Default Amp Mount location on 01 Silverado Extended Cab

Hey guys. Recently purchased a thunderform box for my silverado which takes up pretty much all the room under the rear seats. I have a sub amp in place where it is supposed to be in the thunderform box. Also wanted to mount a 4 channel amp somewhere and keep the rear seats. What is the best location or most used for a 4 channel amp. Was thinking behind the rear seats but not sure how much room is available. Sub amp fits just fine in the box and clears the seats but i'm stuck on where to mount the 4 channel. Thanks.

A lot of people mount amps behind the seat. Shouldn't be a fitment problem. I think you just have to take out some of the insulation. could be wrong tho.

Do they take the rubber insulation or the cloth type, the rubber have vents to the outdoor so i'm not sure if that would be the best place to take it out but it seems to be the only spot with enough space

I have my kicker850 mounted behind the rear seats. I used self tapping screws two years ago and its still holding with no leaks

I used liquid nails to glue a big piece of 3/4" mdf to the back wall, then used wood screws to secure the amp, and a power inverter I added later.

I have a 2.55 cubic foot box under the rear seat and a 5 channel amp on the back wall. My seats are lifted 2.5", so space can be made.

unbolt it and lift the seat out. You can cut the tabs shorter to allow you to move the back down but don't cut them too short.
