Default Ride Of The Week - New Direct Port Owner

Congratulations to Bryce Diamond for our ride of the week and owner of a new direct port!!! Thought that I would share with you guys!

Stepping it up to the next level is something that is imperative to stay above the competition these days and Bryce Diamond has been in front of the competition for a while now with his SRT8 300C. Don’t let this Mopar fool you with its stunning looks, it runs as good as it looks. On the outside this SRT8 300 is hardly different from its factory counterpart minus its change of wheels and subtle exterior additions. Less is always more when it comes to making a car look better. The biggest addition to dramatically altering the look of this car is Bryce addition of Forgestar F14 20x10.5 Bronze wheels. Forgestar is responsible for making great cars look even better with their high quality wheels. It is hard to improve the look of today’s automobiles but these guys can do it with only the addition of their ultra high quality wheels.

It is on the inside and under the hood that you notice the serious business that this car brings to the playing field. Behind those dark tinted windows is a 5 point roll bar! Are you catching my drift about serious business? If that doesn’t give away performance potential this will. Under the hood, Bryce is running an Arrington 392ci Hemi with custom J.E. nitrous pistons at 11.1 compression ratio, K1 Rods, K1 crankshaft, Inertia heads worked over by Crank This Performance, Arrington camshaft, 90mm Arrington throttle body, Kooks Long Tube Headers, Crank This Performance fuel system and Nitrous Outlet 90mm Hemi plate system. The responsibility of tuning this combination was given to ST Motorsports in San Bernardino, CA. ST Motorsports tuned this combination on E85 to the tune of 620 WHP on 125 Jet with the Nitrous Outlet 90mm plate system. With all this power on tap this SRT8 can turn out the time slips at Auto Club Speedway to the tune of 10.8 @ 127 on Nitrous Outlets 90mm plate with stock gears, stock transmission, and stock torque converter.

Not only does this SRT8 turn out the good time slips at the quarter mile track of Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA., it will turn out record breaking times at the Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA. Bryce informed me that his SRT8 holds the LX record at Streets of Willow at Willow Springs Raceway with a lap time of 1.32! This SRT8 is set up for split personalities, handling as well as drag. Suspension is the key to winning races whether it is drag racing or road racing. This car has the suspension to make this SRT8 carve corners like a skilled butcher and 60’ with some of the best drag racers around. The suspension set up was left up to KW Coilovers, Hotchkis sway bars, and RazorEdge strut braces in the front and the rear. With all this power on tap it takes a more than stock braking components to bring this heavy weight champion to a stop. Scrubbing off speed is left up to Wilwood 6 piston W6A BBK with 14” rotors. These brakes will keep the speed this STR8 is capable of in check no matter what event Bryce chooses to participate in.

Bryce, wanting to stay ahead of the competition, is upping the ante with the competition by installing Nitrous Outlet’s Dual Rail Direct Port on this Hemi powered Mopar. Each cylinder will be getting a mouth full of nitrous that will keep this 4000+ Lb. car in front of its competition in race events. This car didn’t even need much help staying ahead of the competition at Shift-S3ctor's Airstrip Attack half-mile rolling start drag races in the southern California desert with its original setup with the Nitrous Outlet 90mm hemi plate. Bryce is now targeting exotics and high performance Autobahn born automobiles that most would shy away from. With the Nitrous Outlet direct port that is going on to the Mopar, the nitrous jetting is going to be increased an extra 75HP and have perfect fuel to nitrous ratios in each cylinder.

Enough about the car, now it is now time to see what a heavy weight champion looks like. Bryce would like to give big thanks to Peter at Forgestar, Cam at Crank This Performance, Nitrous Outlet crew, and everyone else who has made it possible to make this dream machine.

Where was this competition being held? Doesn't look like the Mojave mile but it does look like it's out in California.
Great product btw.
