This work will be done by then. The fuel system will not be though. We have decided to try something and do some testing for a fuel system that still contains the FPCM and stock fuel pump, and tricking some of the sensors first, just to see what happens.

Intresting!!! There are tons of people hoping you can do it and if not there waiting for the alternative. Either way it sounds like you will have the market cornered.

so you expecting around 620-640 with the cam and 3-4# more boost? id say 800 flywheel hp and around 650rwhp would be a badass ride. make sure you announce when your going to be at the track so we can all go watch new era tear it up.

We got the chance to get the truck back on the dyno today. We did a bunch of testing experimenting with fuel pressure feedback to the FPCM and we were able to increase fuel pressure slightly, and we were also able to do this without the check engine light coming on. The down side, it wasn't enough. I ended up at 602 rwhp with 17 psi (Im sure the cam caused a 1-2 psi drop)maxing out the fuel system and still had a lot of room to make more power, but i felt it was not necessary to continue with the maxed out fuel system and the boost not being as much as I wanted. I also learned that this supercharger is not maxed out where I thought it would be athe the target engine rpm i want it, so there is still a good bit to go. So I am going to try to get the next size down supercharger pulley asap so it will be installed when we do get the fuel system done.

One huge positive note we figured out today, we should be able to build an external fuel system capable of supporting 1000hp+ working around the stock fuel pump and FPCM to supply fuel to it without a check engine light which will really simplify it and keep the cost down.

600 is no joke

For everyone else, I took the drive to New Era on Saturday and had a chance to wak around the new shop and chat with Mike and the team. It's really unreal how clean and professional the whole business is. They had 5 beautiful cars in the shop and the truck on the dyno. Cnc room. Porting room. The huge open shop filled with parts, tools, lifts etc. Dyno room. Injector flow and fuel pump flow bench. Very nice Front entrance. I got a heads up on the fuel system they are working on for the truck. After crawling around the truck and climbing in and out of the engine bay with my flashlight. Mike fired it up and gave it a couple revs, then opened the dump... OMG, it's ******* nasty. The combo of cam, headers, and whipple is something that a video wouldn't do justice. Note to self, next time record everything he says so I can go home and replay, study, and memorize it.

TUP New Era Performance

Mike, How long do you think It will take to get something fabbed up for testing. I know you got to do what pays the bills first so I was just curious.
