I need a driver side door for a 2000 chevy silverado 1/2ton pick-up... electric windows,locks.

Houston is the capital of "junkyards". Manuel's salvage or Gold Dust salvage both are on Spencer Hwy at the Beltway, or Patkes salvage (2 locations one on Telephone just north of the Beltway and the other on Almeda Genoa, I think) Best Used Autoparts is also a good one, they are off Red Bluff or something, I got a new locker from them for my Z71 after it exploded, $200 vs. $600+ from GM. I have found that you need to show up in person with cash in hand to get painted parts to match your vehicle, otherwise they say on the phone, "yeah we got doors, don't really know what colors though." Going in person means you can motivate them to search for your interior and exterior color. That could keep you from having to paint it right away or mabe even at all.
