I got her buttoned up and fired off about 2:30 sat morning. I got 3 hours of sleep then took off for PC for the weekend. Although she dosnt like to idle with the current tune, she runs great. Maybe even too good. I got on it for the first time this afternoon. First go from about 5mph blew the tires off and wrapped up so fast it nailed the rev limiter on the 1-2 and wouldn't shift so I let out. A few hundred feet down the road I hit it again from about 10, heard a pop in the rear and let out. Now the rear pops and bangs in turns so I believe I fubared the posi. Two years of ET Street/nitrous launches on the Eaton and she decides to give up on the street with regular radials.
But back to the motor, it sounds really good. It is a bit louder that the 5.3 though. She also whistles while she works. At anything below 1500 rpm it sounds like I have a centrifigual or turbo under the hood.

Sometime mid-january should be doable for me.
If it stops raining I should be able to tear into the rearend tonight to see what is going on in there. I will be glad when it gets fixed so I can start tunning and really see how it is going to run. The little bit I did get on her already, she feels strong.

More power and some weight off the front now, she should run very well
