Default this is what i have been up too

pics of the tried and true 5.3 leaving it's resting place for the last 130K miles.











this is the engine coming out. engine will go in tomorrow or wednesday. just depends. it rained here this afternoon so i held off putting the new motor back in.

it's really not a bad job to do. as kenny said, take your time. my only issues is bolting the tranny back up. i hate doing that. but other than that, the new motor will be going back in soon. i'll take the same pics and post them up as well. not that there is really a difference. no shiney chrome or none of that bs.

no the new block has a futral F4 cam. 226/226. little less lift. 551 or something like that. i'm going with pacesetter headers as well vs the hamm headers i got from kenny a year ago. mids vs lt's. i'm starting to look hard and heavy at the vic jr intake. but for now it will be the truck intake

Actually has more lift .576. Swap looks to be coming along well John, i used to hate the tranny bolts, but now that I have relocated everything to differnt spots its extremely easy. But then again I pull the trans out of my truck it weems like once every couple months.
