Unhappy Leaving Texas soon

Well, looks like I'll be moving to Missouri in August. I love it up there and know I'll enjoy the weather better. It sucks cause I've got a damn good job here!! If I stay here, it's will be more expensive for me. I will have to pay the house note, lights, water, blah, blah, blah. I can afford it but no more money to play with though. One good thing, I would own the house in 7 years. I just need to find a room mate to cut the costs down. On the other hand, in Missouri, I would have 4 acres, which I could easily get 2 for myself. BTW, due to some personal and financial problems, I moved back home a few months ago. I've been busting my a$$ to pay down my debts and get some cash saved, which having a truck doesn't help, lol. I don't know what to do right now. It seems just when I get back on my feet, WHAM, another brick wall. If I go to Missouri, I'll have to start all over again. I'm not worried about getting a job, never have. I just hate leaving this one. I will be taking my Masters' test in August, which will look great when looking for work.

Well, looks like I'll be staying for awhile. I've talked it over w/ my folks and they've agreed to give me 1st option to lease and buy the house here. I'll be leasing it for 2 years and then will finance it for $35k over the prinicipal balance, which will be around $70k. That's a hell of a deal for me and them. They get $35k cash and I get a house w/ a little over 1 acre, a 30x40 steel building, and completely fenced in for $70k. It's win, win for everyone. I don't see any problems w/ me affording the house. I make more than my old man, just got to get priorities in line.

PS: anyone looking to roomate?
