ok, to start out, it was a last minute decision to join a few ls2'ers at the hooters in mobile and then head to the TnT at the track in Irvington, Al.

first off, they were having a ricer event while everyone else TnT'ed. No biggy. I found it amusing to see 10.20 and 9.80 on some of these cars windows. These are the same punk asses that want to rev up to everyone on the street including my bulldog.

i changed the tires, heated the bottle up and did all the other track prep stuff and headed to the staging lanes. i was lined up with some bigblock car and not really wanting to race him. Well low and behold a bold Dodge Ram Hemi owner did me a favor. He managed to get the guys to let him in beside me so he and I could run. He was a single cab, BIG HEMI POWER sticker on the bed and it had exhaust. We line up after the burn outs and i set the nitrous to spray outa the hole. Lights go down, bam were off. i spun all the way down the track and still killed the guy. granted, i had nitrous he didn't but the point is, i think he was feeling good about racing a excab chevy till he saw me smoke et streets from one end of the 1/8th to the other. i ran a 9.0 on that run with a 2.3 6.0ft

next run was by myself and i ran n/a. it ran a 8.11 and my third run of the night was an 8.3 spinning on both of those runs as well.

then on the way home i played with two mach1 mustangs. one has a tune and some other stuff and it's an auto. the other is stock except exhaust and is a 5 speed.

20mph roll i had the auto mach1 till 100 and i had the five speed till 80. none of us sprayed the gas.
