any of you guys ever been through something like this? happened yesterday... i thought i was a tough guy, big bad *** dude, can handle whatever... well i'll say this with no reservation... this freakin blows... i'm a mess. i guess i just need to vent, but i want to know if anyone else has been here, how did you make it, what did you do?

My first wife called me out of the blue one night after 7 years and asked me for a divorce. Its no use fighting it, I told her send me the papers and I was done with her. I moved on, they dont know what they want. A year later she calls wanting to get back together, I told her no that I moved on. Hope it works out for ya. She may just be scared of a full commitment.

 

never happened to me so i cant really relate. but if i was im sure i would be a mess too. it sucks when you give it your all and you get stomped on. sorry man

sorry bout your luck man. i was engaged and we broke up and 3 months later she living with another dude and forgot who i was after 3 years. i let me venting out with my race truck. i started building it after we broke up. and as long as no one steals it shell never leave me

 

I have been looking at houses with her for the last couple months, the house I live in now is small and she wanted a bigger one, and she had a ton of medical bills, one thing that comes from this is I can in good conscious go buy myself a new truck now, and stay where I am and enjoy the house that I've put so much of my own work into. I have a hard time with "everything happens for a reason" I know its probably true, however its hard as hell to feel that way right now, it hurts, it feels like someone is punching me in the gut ever few seconds. it was a good 6 years with her, it was the best of my life so far, its just hard to even thing about starting over now.

I have to agree with Trever here. She could have waited a couple even 14 years before she did it. I do believe in everthing happens for a reason, but as many people have told me, there a many fish in the sea and tomorrow you may meet a big breasted blonde hottie that drives a shiny new ZR1 and loves to get dirty..........I do understand your pain though, I have had a similiar thing happen to me, and its tough. Just hang out with your buddies alot, don't stay in thinking about it. It will pass.
