I have MS Streets and Trips 06 and I havent ever had any trouble with being lost and I use it in the backwoods of Louisiana too

you can change the sensitivity in the setup.

I've used Streets and trips TONS . . . . I used to travel all over the US, and I was lost with out it. It's great for potting out trips and finding streets, but not all the restaurants are on there. . . . It's pretty accurate up to 6 months.

The GPS works great, but you will loose signal when going under tunnels, or some bridges. Other that that the speedo is pretty accurate.

I bought streets 06, and recently "found" a copy of 07 on-line. The GPS works with either one.

Hmm I'll have to mess with the sensitivity then. I was also thinking that it might be the old laptop I had it installed on. I just ordered a new laptop this week though so that won't be an issue for much longer. I think I'll try to "find" a copy of 2007 also.
