I want to install a new radio. I like the setup on the new caddys- gps cd radio etc.

Does anybody make a nice factory looking double din radio that can play mp3's ( gps and sat radio a bonus)

check with alpine, i havent checked there new products lately but they might have what you are looking for.

 

From what I'm seeing, it seems you can have the double din (or GM/Chrysler size) or MP3 playback, but not both... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

There are a couple of units available from Pioneer, if you can do without the MP3... If you don't mind the fit and finish of a single din chassis, you've got a nearly unlimited selection.

Thanks everyone. I found a way to use an old laptop lcd (14 inch screen by 1/4 inch thick) to use for gps and DVD.

My only other choice was a eclipse unit.

I am staying stock for now and going with a huge screen for nav-

OK Ben - Whats the plan for the laptop screen. Thats something I may be interested in. Most laptop screens use a ribbon cable with a ZIF connector. Are you going to build a custom line input and power source for it?
