ok i saw a hummer with the center gps navigation system and wondering if it would fit in the radio slot in my silverado? I can buy the part from dealer at cost. any info would dbe appreciated.

the space measured looks exactly the same, i can get a good deal on this unit. i dont have onstar or xm radio if that matters my stock radio in truck has a tape and cd player. this is on a 2004 silverado

 

also will i lose my cd player. i dont have a center console set up no bucket seats on the truck

the navagation unit is a cd player also. you will have to have the thing programed to your truck and i dont know if you have to have xm or onstar .

 

The trailblazer has them also, I think. I was wondering if they would fit too.

I think you have to have an 03 and up with the Bose sound system. I read a lot about this a few months back on gm-trucks.com.

BTW, you can get a much better deal on ebay then that site.

I would love to put that in my truck one day.
