Seems AWESOME. Go get it dyno'd so you know for sure. I figured you broke the rear end from the description of it grabbin' then lettin' go. At least it wasn't the trans. That can be sold as a "working" unit (or core). I don't know what gears you had before, but 3.90s would be sweet for street & strip (even though I love my 4.10s).

well...I rented a car hauler trailer - which was too short AP, I envy you for getting that truck on the thing, but I didn't have the tools or time to dick with it. I ended up getting a roll back wrecker to come pick it up.

I'll pull the diff cover this week to see what it looks like in there

why do you want a 14 bolt i have about 3 to 4 hundred passes on my and i just put the rearend cover from thunder i have only borke 2 g80 but no gears the 14 bolt is just to damn heavy. didn't you just get the rearend put in it may not have been set right

There is a core charge. If you intend on keeping my core we will require a deposit for the shipping create as well. We do not normally have an issue with this but this is why we have core charges and take deposits.

Colby I guess I nailed the rear end explosion!

I just figured it would be a good upgrade...but an expensive one too. I'm going to just toss another gearset in right now though.

The gears were not setup properly - no precision tools were used at all! It was done by a local 4WD shop about 2 years ago.

That you did

Vince, I bought this level 4 from Tan327, you sold it to him back in August. He kept his core and your crate. Can I crate my stock tranny up and ship it back to you for a core credit?

Oh cool! I was not aware that you bought another members unit. I'm sure that we can work something out. Thank you, Vince.

yup, sorry for the confusion.

I'm not 100% sure that the tranny is not damaged, but it won't matter if you're just taking it back as a core
