Looking to get rid of my 05 gto for one of these. I need a truck and I love the looks of these trucks. Anyone know of any for sale in the south? Looking for 04-06 with 4.8 and the 5-speed manual, color does not matter as long as it is in good shape.

I can only find one for sale in FL down toward Miami its an 04 with 89k on it for $9500. This would be a dd for many years so how reliable are these 4.8l and 5 speeds? Would you buy one with 89k for a DD?

 

I would, My RST is my DD and it's got 93k on it, I bought it with 80k on it for $9000 A year ago. 4.8 is pretty reliable but not much for performance without work (only as deep as your pockets). 5-speed in mine the 2 to 3 shift sucks and I have been thinking about swapping it out later.

RSTs are not hard to find but local might be hard. I bought mine from a guy in TX and had it shipped. Might look into that. There are a few on ebay sometimes. Problem is that their owners "customize" them so you will have to take stuff off sometimes. I took pin stripes off that the previous owner thought were cool. And replace some stuff, like the spoiler.

Hmmm, yep. These are great looking trucks as is. But if someone wants to run chrome fender trim, 24's, a wing off of an eclipse, chrome door handles and the stick hood scoops all the best to them.

Never saw your truck geoz3. But if you like it that's all that matters.

 

Watch it with the eclipse comments. I used to have one and it looked damn good
