Default Do I want Awd or not?

I'm fixing to being to chasing down a SS for a toy and can't decide if I want a awd or not. I will eventually modify the truck nothing crazy.

I will do some driving and some drag racing.

Can I have both sides chime in for this one

Kinda depends on if you just want to roll race when on the street or what. Slicks or DRs for the strip if 2wd. I hated getting beat by a 4cyl turbo awd in my ZO6 only because of traction. I loved killing a Camaro SS and an SRT 8 Challenger in my '14 4wd because of the same. I even hole shotted a dumbass in a GTR (guess he was too confident lol). I'm a fan of 4 wheel traction if you like to dig.

For a driver, 600hp to 4 tires is more fun than 1000hp to 2 tires. Just saying.

I dig race only. It is not racing from a roll. I however am bored with a normal truck or even a z71.

Why wouldn't you want to keep a 4WD truck? Best of both worlds, you can smoke the tires whenever you want or just throw it in 4WD and hook n' book!

for users like smokeshow, atomic and other 4wd race guys do u recommend going from 2wd to 4wd? i have a hand full of junkyards local where i can get parts from, how much work is it and is it possible to do it clean and working like original?

seems like 2wd and traccion on the street doesnt go in the same sentence

i wish i could get traccion like smokeshow does in a push of a botton on the street
