alright so right now i've just got the remote runnin off the orange (12V) constant ...so the amp is always on right now...what i think i'm gonna end up doing is just running a wire up to the fuse box in with something else that's not a constant probably just up to like an ignition fuse or somethin idk i'll figure it out but is there really no accessory wire back there in that harness? i ran my test light through every hole gm startin with some weird things lol

why not just switch the remote wire to one of the other wires on the head unit. It will save you the trouble of running the remote wire to the battery.

wrap it around a post on the ingition fuse in your interrior fuse box. that will turn your amp on and off when you start and shut down the truck.

Mine is just spliced into one of the wires on my head unit. I've had it like that for 3 years with zero problems. I'll have to see which one I spliced into sometime.

That's what most installers do. Just get a test light and see which wire comes on with the key. Splice into it and call it a day. A lot of after market stereos have a blue or blue/white remote wire.
I think on the factory system it's a pink wire.

Here you go. PK is pink btw
¹ The factory radio does not have an ignition power lead (it turns on via the OG data line in pin #1). An interface must be used to retain the factory data bus system and door chime.

² The PK wire triggers the Bose amplifier. To retain the Bose system when an aftermarket radio is installed, the amp remote lead of the new stereo must be connected in-line with this wire.
