I've got an 06 model.....580 miles on it and counting...

04 black with red rcsb.4.8 with a 5spd currently gettin a new clutch.The very first one was sold at the barrett jackson auction for $59k and all the profit went to charity. There were 300 2004s made split between chevy and gmc then split again according to color and cab configuration. 2005 from what ive seen only have front disc where all the 04s i've see have 4 wheel disc.thats all i know.

 

Yeah, my 06 has rear drums

 

I've got a Regency converted 02 Crew cab with a 6 inch lift

 

Yeah, I believe the 05's come with 6 piston SSBC Force 10 Brakes in the Front to Compensate for the Drums in the Rear Unlike the Baer 2 Pistons all the way around in 04. I think the three colors in 05 were Black, Red, and Silver. Also all the Speedster wheels had the Bolt Paterns shaved off unlike the Speedsters You see for Sale in the shop. Chip Foose Designed the Chin and Rear Spoiler and the Rollpan and gave it the 60's Camaro Striping. In fact the Front and Rear Spoilers also match the 69 Camaro. It's GM's Baddest lookin Limited Production Truck.

Yeah, I wish they would have thrown a little extra cash at this thing and popped some disks in the rear and get rid of those ugly a$$ drums. But oh well, guess I've got a mod to do

On a side note.....Twisted, whats up with your center caps in that picture?
