Found a connector to use to replace the bundle of butt connectors i currently have to conect the fpcm and bank 1 downstream o2, sadly it is a fuel injector harness connector from a 2.4 equinox.... my other option is to find an 09ish impala and get the chassis harness connector and splice my original connector back in

Well, its official... Water sucks!!! Yukon has wet carpet....no big deal!! Problem is the cutting out and at times when i give it throttle it doesnt do anything like its just bogging down, also have some random lights on and the xm isnt working due to a communications issue.... The only wetness is in the front floor boards...second row carpet is slightly damp, and theres none that i can tell under the seat where the air bag sdm is, however i did have a few random lights and telltales coming on.... Service air bag-lasted about 3 hours... Windows and ipc cutting out randomly-lasted about an hour.. Park assist off- on still and sunday when the water receded, i had to go get the baby some milk and the battery in the silverado was dead, i drove the yukon around for a little bit and it got better, then i had to bring it back into the neighborhood, which still had about a foot of water in it, went to take the perishable items out of the refrigerator over to the neighbor that had power's house backed through the water and it died for a day pulling into their yard.... Wondering if i didnt get water in my fuel tank or in the fpcm... Odd thing is now that i have gotten it restarted it will cut off randomly going down the road.... Plan on pulling the air filter tomorrow and see if its wet or not and hopefully have a chance to pull some connectors apart and dry them out and probably put some dielectric grease in them to prevent any corrrosion.... Hoping this stalling is something simply needing to dry out some more... Have decided once i get back on my feet from this job change that hasnt panned out and some other ridiculously stupid financial moves i have made, the yukon is getting a 6" lift.... And some 35s!! Once the water and new bugs are clearedout of it!!! Kicking myself for not taking the vehicles to higher ground, didnt expect 3-4feet of water in my parking lot, from a storm that was supposed to have missed this area completely!!

Ok, pulled codes today, not happy!! Starting with the p0016 cam/crank correlation code, have a p0606 and p064e from the fpcm, a bunch of loss of communications codes.... guess i have my work cut out for me, starting with pulling timing cover back off and seeing whats going on there!! And probably going to end up needing a new park assist module as well!!!

Well that blows all the way around...

Assuming you did the relearn after you replaced the engine With a GM or snap on tool and not HPT?

Yes... couple times i had to do it again, kept throwing a crank position not learned after i would flash a change to the tune into the ecm... just find it funny it didnt start til after the flooding issue...

Just got xm back though.... unplugged it for a couple minutes..... and plugged it back in and it works again.. wanted to check the object sensor module connector to see if maybe it had some water in it and found this

Seat harness connector is corroded pretty good on passenger side, but for ow seat is working fine!!!

Going to pull the rear object senor harness at the rear bumper by the tailpipe apart and let it sit after i blow it out and spray it with brake clean to get the water out of it.. its partially melted so it will need to be replaced eventually but for now i just want to get it working again.. hoping that is the communication issue with the module but i an sure i am not that lucky...

Replaced and programmed fpcm tonight, as much water came out of the module i am surprised it ever ran... pulling it out covered half of my hand in water.... was still running out when i was pulling the mounting bolts
Fired right up, havent gotten the p0016 code back yet, but i did have a p1400 pop up something about reduced cold start emissions, going to fill it up tomorrow and see what that code acrually is and go from there, get the feeling the water gremlins are going to be a PITA........ just what i need at this point!!

Exactly why I like the GMT 800 platform... Less electrical hassle...

Agreed, my 99 sat in water past the lower door seal and did not have a drop of water inside and has no issues whatsoever from the storm!!! Have pretty much decided once the bugs are worked out of the yukon, and some other stuff is taken care of i am probably going to lift it and will probably replace all the weatherstrip in it!!!

Well, battery was dead tonight... not sure if its from trying to get fuel pump to work or what, but it needed to be jumped to start tonight! Idle was all over the place surging, checked air filter it and the box were dry as a bone, may just be from dead battery and may be over thinking it looking for porblems, who knows!!! Still need to dry out the rear object detection sensor harness and figure out why i have no communication with the backup assist module....
